Salt Lake City Dog Trainer

"Learn How To Achieve The Level Of Obedience From Your Dog That You Have Always Wanted"

The steps to take to become the owner of a calm, relaxed dog.

Recently a friend of mine needed me to watch his dog for him while he was out of town. He couldn't take his dog "Max" anywhere else because he said, "no one will put up with my hyper, disobedient dog".

When he dropped Max off he was a basket case. He tore through the house chasing after my dogs, he peed on my plants, barked at every car that passed by, and left claw marks on my back door from scratching to get in.

As a dog trainer it only took about 30 minutes of this before I had had enough. I put a leash on Max and went to work .

48 hours later Max had stopped barking, he was sitting when told to do so, walking calmly on a leash, and would play nicely with my dogs in the backyard.

Most people in this situation would have chased Max all over the house, yelling at him every time he did something wrong, or even worse they would have just put up with his destructive behavior until his owner came back.

So how did I turn Max around? What did I do?

A few years ago this would have been an impossible dream for me. I wouldn't have been able to tell you the first thing about how to train a dog. Now I can whip dogs into shape in only a few days. And the best part is, by the time I'm done, the dogs LOVE ME MORE THAN THEIR OWNERS.

And just so you know, I'm no dog whisperer. I started out like most dog owners do: I saw a puppy that was too cute NOT to take home and BAM I was a dog owner. I had no idea how to potty train a dog or teach a dog to stop jumping.

How does someone who knew nothing about dogs go from complete ignorance to knowing how to "fix" almost any dog's behavioral problem anytime I need to?

Sadly, Most Dog Owners Let Their Dog's Behaviors Get Worse Until It's Too Late

I'm sure you love your dog and want only the best for him. And yet, what do most dog owners do when a problem arises?

NOTHING.

They say a prayer and hope the behavior will correct itself or they convince themselves that it was a fluke and it won't happen again. And even if the owner acknowledges the problem and knows there is a solution available they will put it off until it is TOO LATE.

Many people have told me that they are embarrassed to ask for help and that they feel silly not knowing how to control their own dog. I tell them that it is RIDICULOUS to feel that way, and here is why:

When is the last time you did something right without having to study and practice first?

NEVER.

You weren't born knowing how dogs think and neither was I. This is a skill we acquire with hands on experience.

It wasn't too long ago that I became fed up with only liking my dog some of the time. I wanted to be able to trust him day or night, with or without a leash. I couldn't stand the frustration I felt for having to apologize for my dog's behavior all the time.

That's why I have spent the last period of my life studying every dog training methodology known to man. I watched more dog training videos and read more dog psychology books than I can count.

And the HARDEST PART about getting from where I was as a dog owner then to where I am now as a Salt Lake City dog trainer was this:

There was an endless amount of knowledge available about dog psychology, behavior, training, diet, breeding, etc, but I couldn't find a single book that taught me how to "speak dog". None of these books had a way for a guy like me to understand what dogs are thinking, or how I could communicate to my dog what I was thinking in a way he would understand.

IT WAS LIKE ME AND MY DOG WERE ALWAYS ON TWO SEPARATE WAVE LENGTHS.

These books did a great job explaining canine history, anatomy, and even how to teach them tricks, but none of them seemed to teach dog owners how to SOLVE SPECIFIC DOG BEHAVIORAL PROBLEMS. What has been really sad is to see friends and family members give up on owning a dog because it had become a chore rather than a joy.

There Is A Better Way

This is where I come in.

I've spent countless hours training every breed, personality, and size of dog you can think of. From 2 pound Yorkies to 200 pound Great Danes.

As I have taught friends and family members to understand and "speak dog", and as they have sees the incredible changes their dogs go through, they continually BEGGED me to create a dog training program.

So I decided to do just that. Believe me it has not been an easy task. Simplifying the many complex "issues" dogs develop into a step by step process was no cake walk. But the finished product is something I am extremely proud of.

My book is called "From Puppy To Pack Leader".

It has become clear to me that most dog owners do exactly the opposite of what they need to be doing to be successful with training their dog. My ebook teaches you the RIGHT WAY to train your dog.

If you need to know exactly what to do and how to do it this book will help you.

If you already know how to train dogs this book will make you even better. If you are looking to enter competitions with your dog this ebook will help you. If you are merely looking to make your dog easier to live with this book will help you.

I guarantee you there is no other program out there with the kind of information you'll get from my book, "From Puppy To Pack Leader".

I had to study, practice and learn how to train dogs THE HARD WAY. Learn from my mistakes and my successes as I walk you through the solutions to your everyday dog training problems.

The good news is I have decided to offer "From Puppy To Pack Leader" as an ebook. This means you can download it right to your computer and begin applying the techniques and concepts you'll learn IMMEDIATELY.
